Book Club: The Grieving Body by Mary-Frances O’Connor (In-Person)

Join us for a discussion of The Grieving Body by Mary-Frances O’Connor.

The Skip to the End Book Club is a space for reading, thinking, and talking about topics related to death and dying. We read books about illness, caregiving, spirituality, and other topics that call on us to stretch our understanding of what it means to be mortal.

This club is for anyone who wants to engage in open and caring discussion with people who may share and challenge your perspectives on life and death.

This month we will be reading The Grieving Body, a neuroscience-informed approach to talking about how the body experiences grief and other major life stressors. Grief is a full-body experience as well as a mental and emotional one. It’s time for us to pay attention to all of the ways that we talk about and work through it, both for ourselves and alongside others.

This will be an in-person event! View location details and register HERE.
